- Edward L Marcus was unanimously re-elected to his 4th full term as Chairman of the Connecticut Democratic State Central Committee. Marcus was first elected Connecticut Democratic Chairman in a special election in 1992 and has held the post since. He is the longest serving Chairman amongst the National Democratic Party.
